Diamond engagement rings

Diamond engagement rings have long been symbols of the contract made between loving couples since time immemorial to be faithful, loving and true. Its symbolic meaning or history varies between different cultures but the circularity of the ring has always been, and remains, a symbol of endless or eternal love between the couple and an expression of their union. Crafted with care, gold jewelry is also a lifetime investment. Originally rings of betrothal were used to represent partial payment of a dowry, not something we refer to quite so blatantly in this day and age although probably there is a similar sentiment in the sense that a man, by offering a gold ring, makes the depths and extent of his intentions known. Traditionally the groom-to-be buys the ring and then goes down on his hands and knees to request the hand of his beloved in marriage. Following an engagement, the upcoming nuptials become a public event, and the proud bride-to-be’s ring will be scrutinized and admired by friends and family of the lovers
